艺术家姜波个展“眼泪”
电焊工的高超技艺，
是让自己的工作不被看见，
焊铁要隐匿如眼泪，
熔冶和成全他者。
姜波的焊接工作里却没有他者，
只有自己。
这是经年累月的劳作，
没有功能，不被雇佣，
自我挥霍与苦役。
阡陌间的耕耘，
耕耘便是收获。
一向被牺牲掩盖的焊铁，
累积、凝结、彰显自我，
炼化成为触目惊心的主体。
The exceptional skills of a welder
make one's work invisible,
The welding should be as subtle as tears,
smelt and fulfill others.
The others are not found in Jiang Bo's welding,
but only himself.
That's the labors over months and years
without any purpose or employment,
that consumes and exhausts oneself.
All the hard works in the fields
which yield in one's achievement.
The compromised and concealed metal,
accumulates, comes together and reveals the self,
refines into the compelling subject.

姜波
1984年生于湖南，2010年毕业于中央美术学院雕塑系，现生活工作于北京。他曾举办的个展包括： 北京艺琅国际“德州巴黎”（2017）。他曾参加过的部分群展包括：“十夜——BMCA艺术文件展”（2016）、北京当代唐人艺术中心、佩斯北京“不在图像中行动”（2014）、“夜走黑桥”（ 2013）、荷兰格罗宁根美术馆“不合作方式 二”（ 2013）、北京荔空间“此时此地，无聊乃至无穷的延误”（2013）等。
